Why did you go into teaching?
I am passionate about literature and the arts and love sharing that passion with students. Seeing the progress that students make over the course of the year, mentoring them, and getting to know students in and outside of the classroom are some of the most rewarding parts of being a high school English teacher!
Why did you choose to teach at BB&N?
The school’s values resonated strongly with me and I wanted to work with diverse students who have a strong academic bent.
Highlight from this summer?
Seeing the lavender fields in Aix-en-Provence, the wild horses of Camargue grazing in the fields, and a flamingo flying in the air were unforgettable moments.
