For the second year, the eighth graders at the Middle School (MS) are working on their Spring Projects. Led by the eighth grade advising team, the five-week-long project aims to facilitate leadership and community engagement through workshops. Every Thursday morning during homeroom, eighth graders spend 50 minutes participating in their chosen workshop. At the end of the project, students will present what they learned to their grade.
Over half of the workshops are student-led, such as the Sports Club workshop led by Alaia Hassan and Ela Gonzolez (both ’30). Members of this workshop will travel to the Lower School during the last three weeks of the project to teach younger students how to play sports.
