Thomas Porell ’22 takes a shot on goal during an April 23 match against Rivers. Although they started the season with two COVID cases, six injuries, and four losses, Boys’ Varsity Lacrosse is still having fun and is optimistic about the rest of their season, Co-Captain Jack Pappendick ’22 said. “The overall goal is to build the confidence of the younger players, which, in turn, will increase the speed of play on the field,” he said. “Culturally, the other captains and I are striving to create a fun environment during practice and make sure those who chose to play lacrosse have a great experience.”
